Direction for use and storage : Ampule
|
1. For opening this new ampule bottle, hold it horizontally with white part in left hand and yellow part in right hand. Then bend gently as if you are breaking it apart. This will smoothly open the ampule.
2. Open the internal yellow PP cap, carefully remove the plug and transfer the contents of the ampule into a 500 ml standard volumetric flask of Class A grade. Rinse the bottle from inside with distilled water replacing again the plug. Transfer the rinsing to the flask. Make up volume up to the mark with distilled water at 27°C. Stopper the flask and mix thoroughly. 3. Note down the normality and date of preparation of the solution on the sticker label provided in the pack. Affix the same on the bottle/flask. 4. The unopened capsule bottles may be stored indefinitely without the contents deteriorating in strength or quality. (Solutions diluted for use should be kept under conditions of storage appropriate to volumetric and reagent solution). 5. The accuracy of the solution prepared as above from S.D’s Concentrated Volumetric solution is 0.1 ± 0.002 N |
